Views, Workspaces and more customization.

With the latest version updates released, we have three new features that expand the customization of Dynamics 365 and a little more on what we saw in the previous views posts. So today, we will activate these features and show how they work.

These are the features we are talking about:

Saved views support dialogs: Saved views now support some dialog windows. This extends the functionality to these types of windows, for example, if we go to the All purchase orders window and customize the Related Information dialog, we can save the view, and the modifications made in this dialog will be reflected in our Saved View:

Saved views support workspaces: Again, talking about saved views, but this time about workspaces. It allows us to create and save our workspaces as a view and then be able to share them with the organization through the Publish button.

Allow users to select and change icon sizes: This feature allows us to modify and customize workspace icons to 4 different sizes:

4x4 (LARGE)

2x4 (WIDE)

2x2 (Medium)

1x2 (ShortWide)

To change them, we stand on the icon, and with a right click, customize will show us the four available options.

This changes the display of the icons a lot, since we can design spaces in various ways, facilitating navigation.

And finally, some of the features that have already been activated automatically for version 10.0.28, which create new views for activities within various detail forms. If we enter any of the following menus:

• Purchase orders

• upload processing

• Shipment Processing

• issued products

• All production orders

• bills of materials

• Production Order Pick List

• Planned orders (list and detail)

By entering the details of any of these, for example, in Products issued, we can access to see only logistics, sales, purchase information, or what is necessary for the creation of the product:
