Enterprise Skill Initiative

To close this year and start the next learning, we will talk about the Enterprise Skill initiative today. A Microsoft initiative that will allow us to be in constant learning.

What is the Enterprise Skill Initiative?

The program was created to help us learn the necessary skills to work with Microsoft tools. Within this portal, we can access information related to our career objectives.

We can access the site: https://esi.microsoft.com/ with our work account credentials (Remember that this portal is activated only for business customers or Microsoft partners). The first time we enter, it will ask us what our learning objective (role) is and other information about our time zone, language, etc.:

In this case, I entered the role of "Solution Architect". The portal will guide me to specific courses and certifications for this role.

Once we have accepted, we will find the following portal with several accesses to start learning.

Virtual Training Days

Here we can access one-day virtual training sessions taught by Instructors who give fundamental and advanced topics on the Azure and Dynamics 365 platforms. Sometimes they usually provide free certification exams.

We can register in the one we want, which will send us an agenda to add to our calendar.

Courses taught by Microsoft

In this link, we will find courses taught by Microsoft to help us with our training. Tech Talks on specific topics of the tools and courses for particular certifications are also included here.

Training Center by Partners Here, we can search for courses and training from Microsoft Partners dedicated to Training. These courses are usually paid for.

Exam Preparation

In this section, we will have training sessions for exams, usually practices of three to four hours, where we will work with moderators and live chats, answering our queries.

Certifications

Entering here, we can schedule our certification exam. We can also have a practice exam renewed every 2 hours within an extensive list of exams.

Productivity workshops

It will direct us to a Microsoft site with pre-recorded classes on specific topics of all MS tools, such as Teams, Excel, and Word.
